The entertainment industry in your pocket

The people who shape the industry are one question away. Reach them directly, and only pay when they answer.

You ask. Filmmakers They answer. Industry Professionals That simple.

Pick your person.

See the movies they've made and the experience they bring.

Step 1

Everyone here has actually worked in film or TV. Search by their credits or the exact experience you need, and their price is shown before you choose.

Choose how to ask.

Text · Call · Video

Step 2

Text is best for one sharp, specific question. A voice call is best to talk it through. A video call is best when you want to talk face to face. You see the price for each before you book.

Get your answer.

Specific to your project, straight from the person you picked.

Step 3

The person you chose answers you themselves. Because they've actually done it, what you get is specific to your project, not general advice.

Nothing upfront.

A hold, not a charge.

Step 4

Your card is authorized, not charged. A written question is charged only when the answer arrives, and if it never comes you are never charged. A call is charged when the expert confirms your time, and their share is held until the call actually happens.

They only earn when they answer

Send a question and your card is authorized, not charged. The expert is paid only if they reply inside the window. No reply, no charge. Book a call and the charge lands when the expert confirms your time, and their share is held until the call actually happens.

Every answer can be rated

The person who asked rates what they got, so the next person can see whether an answer landed. It runs the other way too: it tells the professional whether they delivered, so the next one is sharper. If a response misses the mark, flag it and a person reads it.

More than people think. The shape gets set by the money and the studio long before that.

Frequently asked questions

What is Industry Intros?

Industry Intros is a US-only marketplace where you can ask a paid text question or book a short voice or video call with a film and television industry expert: studio executives, showrunners, producers, financiers, agents, and entertainment lawyers. You pay only once an expert commits: when they reply inside the response window, or when they confirm your call time.

Can I talk to a real studio executive or producer?

Yes. Every expert on Industry Intros is a working professional in film and television who signed up with us, including studio and network executives, showrunners, producers, financiers, talent agents, and entertainment attorneys. You reach them directly by text question, voice call, or video call.

How does payment work, and when am I charged?

You are charged only after an expert commits. When you send a question or request a call, Industry Intros authorizes a hold on your card but does not charge it. A text question is charged when the expert replies inside the response window. A voice or video call is charged when the expert confirms your requested time, which happens before the call, not after it; the expert's share is then held and paid out only once the call actually takes place. If the expert never replies and never confirms a time, the hold is released and you pay nothing.

How much does it cost?

Prices are set by each expert, not by Industry Intros, so there is no single fixed price. Every expert publishes their own list price for text questions, voice calls, and video calls. An optional monthly membership gives you a discount on every conversation.

Are the calls recorded?

No. Calls on Industry Intros are never recorded or stored, ever. Voice and video calls run live and privately, and no recording is kept by the expert, the buyer, or the platform.

What is the membership?

Membership is an optional monthly subscription between you and Industry Intros that gives you a discount on every text, voice, and video conversation. Frequent buyers can save more than the pass costs, and you can cancel anytime. The discount never reduces an expert's pay; Industry Intros absorbs it.

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds once an answer has been delivered or a call has taken place. By receiving the answer or attending the call, you approve the charge. Accountability runs through the rating system: you rate every experience, and those ratings determine which experts rise. Industry Intros reverses a payment only in cases of confirmed fraud or a card chargeback.

Is the advice professional advice?

No. An answer on Industry Intros is that expert's personal perspective and experience. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice, and never a promise of a job, a deal, or funding. Experts are independent professionals sharing their own point of view.

Who can use Industry Intros, and where is it available?

Industry Intros is US-only and for adults 18 and over. Anyone in the United States can sign up, browse experts, and book a conversation. That means writers, directors, actors, producers, crew, editors, film students, financiers and investors, entertainment attorneys, agents and managers, marketing and brand teams, authors and rights holders with material they want made, and people with no connection to the industry at all. You do not need to work in film or television, or want to: people come with a script question, a business question, a career question, or plain curiosity about how the industry really works.
